Chelmsford Gymnastics Club is the only dedicated facility in Chelmsford to offer gymnastics to all, be that children, young people or adults. We pride ourselves on being a friendly and approachable facility with the ability to offer support to students with disabilities. Our proudest achievement is being home to our British Disability Champion Nicole Smith.
We are committed to ensuring we provide a safe, fun and engaging environment for all to thrive and develop themselves within our wonderful sport of gymnastics.
All of our team are DBS checked, First Aid trained and are qualified within the British Gymnastics coaching pathway. We also offer the Core Proficiency badge system for our recreational gymnasts to work towards developing their core foundations within the sport. As well as our core facility we also have satellite clubs within schools in Chelmsford to further promote gymnastics within our community.
At Chelmsford Gymnastics Club our Core values are important to us and help guide us in what we offer:
The club is running its holiday club sessions throughout August. These replace all our 1hr recreational classes. These sessions are for 2hrs and are focused on fun!
All 1hr recreational gymnasts are entitled to 1 session per week as part of their membership.
The sessions cost £10 per gymnast, if gymnasts wish to attend another session in the same week or stay for both sessions. These sessions are also open to friends and family, as well as children on our waiting list.
Congratulations to Tegan on her performance at the Adult British Championships.
3rd place on Beam and 6th overall, is an amazing achievement, considering she’d only competed in her first ever gymnastics competition just 6 weeks before, and only started adult gymnastics at the beginning of the year.
Chelmsford Gymnastics Club is looking for a Part-time Level 1 Assistant Coach to join our coaching team.
If you are passionate about working with children from ages 4-16 within a recreational setting, this would be an ideal position for you.
A high level of enthusiasm and the ability to work as part of a team are essential.
Applicants must be willing to work afternoons (Monday – Friday) and weekends (Saturday). There are some Sundays which may be required for any competitions or judging commitments.
