Safeguarding & Welfare

Chelmsford Gymnastics Club is committed to ensuring that those working with children and vulnerable adults adopt best practice to ensure the health, safety and welfare of the participants, coaches and officials. Our coaches are trained under the British Gymnastics Coaching Award Scheme. This also means that they are required to be insured, DBS checked and have completed a safeguarding course. All of our team have additionally been trained in delivering first aid.

Any concerns about child welfare should be reported directly to one of our Welfare Officers, Jay A on

07494194475 or alternatively our County Welfare Officer, Sam on 07743874832
